Here are couple of new photos I took with this camera. Mind you, I’m not that great but I’m learning how to use it. Most of the photos are modified via Adobe Lightroom. Enjoy!

Can’t use JavaScript for email such as newsletter, etc.? No problem! I found pretty cool solutions from all over the internet and assembled in one place. Just place it inside <a href="link goes here">...</a> tags.

The main reason I’m a designer (and a coder, too), and why I really enjoy what I do, is because of Apple. The world lost a true visionary, innovator, thinker, creator, and inventor of countless great things. You will be missed. Thank you, Steve Jobs.
This is a great article from Trent Walton regarding how CSS3 can benefit everyone. It’s great to see a real-world example & comparison. With speed becoming even more important on the web, it’s more important to keep an eye on such things as background images & extraneously loaded items. Read more about CSS3 vs CSS: A Speech Benchmark here.
Trent Walton will be speaking at converge this year so don’t forget to sign up!

I apologized for my whatever xx months lack of blogging. Things have been completely insane lately. Crazy past holidays, wife’s recent surgeries, our amazing new SUV, upcoming marathons including 30th Annual 7 Mile Bridge Run, migrated to a different hosting and launched couple of new sites including this one (it’s updated on my homepage so you can check it out). I loved my new hosting service – dreamhost.com. Many thanks to Jason Beaird for mentioning this. It’s a thousand times better than 1and1.com. The reason? I am able to host multiple domains on one single hosting on one single price. The best of all? One year hosting is free and next year price is only 25 bucks. Gotta love those deals and promotions. Once again, thanks to Jason Beaird for that, too!
In the coming weeks, I hope to post couple of new blogs. You can follow me via twitter since I tweeted more than I posted to my blogs.
I apologized for the last minute notice, but I was given the opportunity by Jason Beaird via Refresh Columbia to speak regarding @font-face on Wednesday, October 27th at Swearingen Engineering Center.

I am very proud to announce that First Baptist Church of Key Largo has launched their new website solely designed and coded by awesome person, me. :)
This website is powered by WordPress with an awesome Starkers theme created by Elliot Stocks. Starkers is a bare-bones WordPress theme created to act as a starting point for the theme designer so that means it’s not littered by useless DIVs’ IDs and Classes that came with WordPress. Second, Integrating the Google Calendar was quite easy than I thought and was very useful for the Pastor and the staffs. There aren’t any good WP calendars I can find : Google Calendar have a very limited css and html style but hey it’s better than nothing! :) I also learned how to create a FBCKL’s first podcast page via Apple iTunes and it was pretty challenging. Two of my favorite parts about this website are – ministry index button (on top left of the site) where it expands to show more menus and the HUGE search input form which I thought it was quite useful, you know, for senior people ;)

This year, I have the opportunity to go to ConvergeSC 2010 in Columbia, SC with my wife on Saturday June 25th. I heard that the ConvergeSC was a groundbreaking conference with great speakers and workshops (unfortunately, I cannot attend workshops during my workday on Friday) to energize and educate designers, developers and marketing professionals so I decided to go and check it out.
